Booking Information and Policies
At 4thekurlture, we believe that big and great things come out of small packages. Our salon offers a quality salon suite-style setup where dedication and passion meet professionalism. We invite you to experience a space where comfort, relaxation, security, and peace come together. Join us on this natural hair care journey and feel like family every step of the way.
Booking & Payment:
A $25 nonrefundable retainer is required at booking (higher for memberships) and this amount is applied to your service. The remaining balance is due at the time of the service. We accept payment by Cash (exact amount), Debit/Credit Card, and Apple Pay.
Rescheduling & Cancellation:
You may reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours prior to the appointment time. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, a $25 nonrefundable fee will be charged to the card on file. We are BIG on communication, so please let us know if you encounter any issues, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Guest Policy:
To ensure each guest receives our full attention and care, we kindly request that children who join us are of an age and disposition that allows services to be completed smoothly. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee full accommodation for babies or very young children during appointment times. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you need special accommodations, please communicate prior to your service. We try to be very understanding.
Client Guidelines:
Children being serviced under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Additional fees may apply for long lengths or extremely thick hair as it may require additional and more delicate time to service.
Health and Safety:
Please reschedule if you are unwell or have been exposed to illness (e.g., COVID, RSV, FLU, etc.). No symptoms are required upon return. A pre-service form sent via email must be completed prior to the service.
Appointment Prep:
Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment for an in-depth consultation to target your specific haircare preferences and needs. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled unless otherwise discussed. Please have your hair readily available to be serviced (No take-down services offered). Avoid using heavy products 24-48 hours prior to the service.
Refunds for Booking Services Only:
Please note that this is not the refund policy for our retail haircare products. There are no refunds for services. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact me within 7 days of your most recent appointment. We will work to accommodate and adjust the nature of the unsatisfactory issue. This only applies if there have been no significant changes to the hair post service.
